Honeywell is a very solid employer, yet there are gaps in leadership on the Brno site. The corporate environment of Honeywell SPS, it has all the perks as you expect, all the security, the downsides are very small focus on the individual and sometimes given tasks which are not useful (and which are useful only to the upper management's statistics and metrics). A few years ago I read that the ways of management are the issue here before coming to the company, after a few years I can only confirm. Once you are in a good team, you will definitely have a good time in the company, learn a lot and contribute, and it will have its advantages, yet I cannot shake the feeling that if this company would be physically in countries more to the west, there wouldn't be that many coffee breaks and focus on unimportant things, and important things would actually change and the work would be actually done. Or maybe it is not a Czech thing but really the issue of Honeywell worldwide, that some projects can take years and some issues are not fixed for years and noone knows how to actually fix it, as the people who knew are already gone. Fluctuation is definitely an issue. Honeywell Aero probably does better than Honeywell SPS though. If you won a nice position, definitely go for it, the company culture is very enjoyable, yet .. there are downsides to this life.

Missing information on processes, fluctuation of people on certain positions, projects for internal metrics instead of making things better, small focus on the individual, unwillingness of the company to issue rules for work from home outside of the pandemics.

Opportunity to learn new things

You have the opportunity to learn from very smart people and there are a lot of trainings, although it depends whether the specialists for your specific area are available or have time (field dependent).

Mezinárodní prostředí, využití jazyků, projekty s přesahem do několika regionů, volnost nastavit priority, neustále zlepšování procesů, eliminace zbytečných kroků. Zajímavé kariérní možnosti, pravidelné rotace pozic v případě zájmu a dobrých výsledků.

Náročné pracovní prostředí, vysoké hodnocení odpovídá nasazení a delší pracovní době, méně benefitů než nabízí ostatní firmy na trhu, menší možnosti ad hoc ohodnocení týmu, v ne-Covid době nemožnost home-office.

Complex tasks

Každý je motivovaný přinášet návrhy na zlepšení bez toho, aby ho někdo vodil za ruku. Pokud přijdu s nápadem, musím odhadnout benefity, kdo v daném procesu figuruje, nakontaktovat všechny lidi, přesvědčit je, že ze zlepšení plynou výhody a implementovat.

Lidé v kancelářích jsou z několika zemí, hlavní komunikační jazyk je angličtina. Běžně je manažer zaměstnance z jiné země, kolegové, takže meetingy a projekty zahrnují mezinárodní komunikaci.

Mezinárodní prostředí, komunikace v angličtině, možnost kariérního růstu.

Manažer ze zahraničí - neuměl zcela správně chápat místní zvyklosti z hlediska rozdílu čerpání dovolené a neschopenky ze zdravotních důvodů. Tehdy nebyla možnost pracovat z domova.

20 let ve firmě mi hodně dalo . Jedná se o firmu s jasně danými pravidly , férovou a v neposlední řadě dobře platící .

propracovaný systém - vše má svůj řád , co by se dalo zlepšit je přístup NĚKTERÝCH vedoucích pracovnků

Práce nebyla náročná na pochopení.Pracovala jsem ve firmě ráda.No škoda toho ,že přešla pod jinou agenturu.

Kvalitní vybavení, dá se pořídit téměř cokoli, pokud to má odůvodněný přínos na projekt. Možnost školení, zvyšování kvalifikace, podpora vzdělávání. Přátelská atmosféra, zajímavé projekty.

Open space kancelář: hluk, obtížné soustředení, neshoda v nastavení klimatizace, během dne vydýchaný vzduch. Komplikované IT systémy, které ne vždy fungovaly. Spolupráce s kolegy z .in, .cn je řekněme problematická.

Opportunity to learn new things

Proč pro lidi, kteří nejvíce ocení Možnost učit se novým věcem? Protože se tam vymýšlejí věci, které nikdo zatím nedělal. Kdo má vůli na něčem novém dělat a zápasit s problémy, tak má možnost. Přístup k vybavení a podpora tam je. Ale stojí to nějaké úsilí prošlapat cesty.

Oceňuji že mi dali příležitost pracovat pro korporát. Poznala jsem tam skvělé lidi, hlavne mimo muj pracovni tym ale i v tyme jsme byli pratele. Ale sef byl ten nejhorsi jakeho jsem mohla mit, nejenom po lidske a charakterove strance, take jako lídr stal za starou backoru. Rozestvávál lidi, vymyslel si a vubec asi to dal nebudu rozvadet.. takto rozhodne ne!
