Management style Recognition Work/personal life balance
I would like maybe to have some on site visits to few manufacturing plants and to different sites to understand better how teams work, this will help me in my operational duties.

MSD nabízí skvělé benefity, a je jich opravdu hodně, navíc se snaží i najít řešení po omezení benefitů vládou. Jedním z benefitů je třeba možnost objednat si v rámci firemního programu stůl a židli na práci z domova. Samozřejmostí je cafeterie, MultiSport karta, nebo třeba hrazení některých produktů. Klade se zde velký důraz na další vzdělávání, a firma se k zaměstnancům chová férově. Není problém pracovat z domova nebo si během dne něco zařídit, pokud to nenarušuje vaši práci.
Vzhledem k tomu, že se jedná o velmi velkou a “starou” společnost, navíc z vysoce regulovaného odvětví, jsou některé procesy opravdu HODNĚ pomalé. Firma má trošku problém pružnost ě reagovat na změny na pracovním trhu, občas panuje odtržení managementu od reálných problémů (ale to není specifické pro MSD).
Flexible working hours
V rámci týmu není problém se domluvit prakticky na čemkoli. MSD nabízí i možnost zkrácených úvazků, potažmo zkrácený pracovní týden, kdy je možné si pracovní dobu "napracovat". Práce z domova je bez problému a MSD nabízí i vybavení pro práci z domova - headset, monitor, stůl a židli. Exituje i možnost pracovat po určitou dobu ze zahraničí.
Opportunities for career advancement
Kariérní postup není problém, ale rozhodně to není samozřejmost. Pokud prokážete své schopnosti, karérní postup není problém. Problém není ani přestup mezi jednotlivými divizemi/odděleními, např. z financí do IT.

As an expat , and leading a team of a culturally diverse team, MSD offers a very inclusive environment which makes you feel belonged and your opinions are not just heard but they matter too. Teams are extremelly cooperative and there is always visibility on the work that happening and the stregic direct. MSD allows to experiment freely and provided enough opportunities to grow, learn and develop yourself .

Možnost práce na širokém spektru úkolů. Krásné kanceláře. Ohromné množstvá benefitů.
Nejasné, kdo má jakou zodpovědnost. Projekty závisí na týmech, které neplánují pracovat na klíčových elementech pro nás projekt.
Flexible working hours
Pružná pracovní doba závisí na konkrétním týmu a dohodě se šéfem, ale velmi často je možné dohodnout flexibilní pracovní dobu, práci z domova i v omezené míře práci ze zahraničí.
Meaningful work
MSD se soustředí na výrobu unikátních léku a vakcín, které pomáhají lidem na celém světě. Atmosféra ve firmě je velmi příjemná a klade se velký důraz na to, aby se lidé cítili v práci dobře.

I appreciate friendly and informal environment, with the complexity of matrix organization, where you enjoy networking and cross-cultural cooperation.
The matrix organizational structure can bring both advantages and challenges, depends on the view of the participants and job requirements.
