About the Future in Progress: Graduates program

Our 24-month cross-functional program is structured around three 8-month rotations. From day one, you’ll work on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and build skills across a variety of teams. You’ll also join a supportive graduate community, benefit from a premium learning curriculum — including workshops, training sessions, digital tools, and hackathons — high challenges, and high support from mentors and senior leaders.

During your rotations, you could drive efficient manufacturing, quality, and product distribution to ensure global availability of PMI’s products. Focus on operational excellence, product quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Supports the shift to smoke-free products through innovation, scalability, and continuous process improvement.

Who Can Apply:

We’re looking for innovative, curious, and ambitious graduates who are fast learners, think creatively, take initiative, and thrive in dynamic settings.

To be eligible for the Future in Progress Graduate program, you should have:

  • Relevant education in Production Management & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Robotics, Mechatronics, Logistics, Chemistry or related.
  • A maximum of 3-years of post-graduation work experience.
  • Initial professional experience in production, quality, or engineering supported by relevant education is an advantage.
  • Capacity to set priorities and solve complex problems occurring in production or any other operations area.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Proficient use of MS Excel will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and local language.
  • Legal right to work in the country where your chosen program is located (without sponsorship) and willingness to relocate abroad.
  • Agility and adaptability in a dynamic market.
  • Initiative and courage to experiment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Holiday bonus in the total amount of 1.6× monthly salary (you receive the equivalent of 13.6 monthly salaries per year)

Program details

Start date: September 1st, 2026
Duration: 24 months, 3 rotations
Initial location: Kutná Hora, Czech Republic — home to one of PMI’s key manufacturing sites, combining world-class production, innovation, and a historic UNESCO-listed town just one hour from Prague. The site operates as a dual factory, producing both conventional cigarettes and ZYN nicotine pouches, offering a unique blend of cultural heritage and modern industrial excellence while also playing an important role in PMI’s transformation toward a smoke-free future through innovation, capability building, and the scaling of smoke-free products.
