Největší hodnotou byl pro mě smysl samotné existence hospice
Z mé zkušenosti se deklarované hodnoty organizace (profesionalita, pracovitost, pokora, poctivost a pravda) v každodenní realitě pracovního prostředí nenaplňují tak, jak jsou prezentovány navenek. Ve vztahu k zaměstnancům v hospici nevnímám podporu otevřené komunikace, respektu a zdravých pracovních vztahů. Převažuje kultura mlčení, přizpůsobení se a pasivně-agresivního jednání. I konstruktivní kritická zpětná vazba není vítána a iniciativa je vnímána jako narušení zavedeného pořádku. Toto hodnocení se týká výhradně vnitřního fungování organizace a pracovních vztahů.

Práce v hospicu dává hluboký smysl a poznání.
Ponižování ze strany vedení, neprofesionalita některých kolegů, nemožnost účastnit se všech školení, žádné hodnocení v průběhu doby, nejasná pravidla, práce navíc
Meaningful work
Zaměstnání je vhodné pro lidi, kteří mají srdce a odvahu doprovázet umírající na poslední cestě. Plnit jim jejich přání a poskytovat podporu celé rodině a blízkým. Nebojí se psychicky náročného tématu. Pracovat v týmu a ovládat sebereflexi.
