Ve firmé naučí minimální elementární znalosti. Nevýhodou je to, že vás dále nikam neposunou, protože argumentují slovy "to nebudete potřebovat" popř "to není nutné,abyste věděl". Tím si know-how udržuje jenom určitá skupina lidí, která je příbuzenskými či přátelskými vztahy napojena na vedení firmy. Ostatní mímo tuto skupinu nemají šanci na jakýkoliv profesionální vývoj, jsou od něho odstřiženi.
