At GCE, a global manufacturer, we are looking for a Commodity Manager who will play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy, optimizing our supplier base, and leading critical cross-functional projects across the organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodity groups
- Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, tenders, and contract management
- Drive cost optimization and supplier performance improvements
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and business reviews
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through dual-sourcing and supplier development
- Support new product introductions and product lifecycle projects
Project Leadership
- Lead procurement-related workstreams within major business projects
- Manage supplier transfers, resourcing initiatives, and cost reduction programs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Drive project milestones, risk management, and successful implementation

Experience
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success in developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver measurable business impact.
- Strong track record of leading teams, developing talent, and building high-performing organizations.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional business initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, functions, and locations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex international environment and influence senior leaders across the organization.
- Experience driving transformation, process improvements, organizational change, or business growth initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data-driven decision making.
