Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing pump product development projects for Thomas and Welch Pumps, from concept through commercialization. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage pump product development projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and key project documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and support timely resolution.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support product design reviews, project milestones, and launch activities.
- Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience managing or coordinating product development, engineering, or manufacturing projects.
- Understanding of project management principles including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage but not required.
