Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps & Integration Engineer - Thales DIS Czech Republic s.r.o.

As a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, operating, and maintaining Thales solutions across cloud and customer environments. Working within a DevOps team, you will drive automation, improve system reliability, support customer deployments, and ensure operational excellence throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Thales solutions in cloud, virtualized, and customer environments.
• Manage and support cloud-native applications, primarily on GCP and Kubernetes platforms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) and automation tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.
• Support CI/CD processes using GitLab and DevOps best practices.
• Integrate solutions with customer networks, backend systems, and third-party services.
• Contribute to solution design, deployment strategies, and operational readiness.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and acceptance plans.
• Execute testing, customer acceptance activities, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborate with development, validation, support, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and manage technical risks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Systems Administration, Integration Engineering, or Software Support.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Perl scripting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, DNS).
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Preferred Qualifications
• GCP administration experience and Kubernetes certification.
• Experience in telecommunications or mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of SQL, web servers, SSL/TLS, and web services.
• Scrum or Agile certification.
