A&P Junior Category Manager CE (CZ/SK/HU) - Parfumerie DOUGLAS, s.r.o.

What is this role about?

We are looking for a proactive and analytically minded Junior Category Manager to support category development across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The role is primarily based in our Prague office, with only occasional travel within the region.

You will work closely with Senior Category Managers and cross-functional teams to manage assortments, analyze category performance, coordinate supplier activities, and support commercial decision-making.

What will you do?

• Support category and supplier portfolio management across CZ, SK, and HU

• Monitor category performance and analyze key KPIs to identify opportunities and support business decisions

• Coordinate assortment changes, product launches, and promotional activities

• Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations for category development and supplier meetings

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and other teams to ensure successful execution of category plans

• Monitor market trends and competitive developments and translate insights into actionable recommendations

• Maintain accurate category data and support continuous improvement initiatives

What are we looking for?

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented personality

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required

• Czech or Slovak language skills are required

• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with reporting or analytical tools is an advantage

• Previous experience in category management, purchasing, FMCG, retail, or trade marketing is a plus
