We are looking for a motivated Senior Specialist, Logistics-as-a-Service (LaaS) Commercial to help scale foodora’s logistics solutions across seven European markets. You will play a key role in growing our third-party delivery business, supporting local teams in expanding partnerships with restaurants, grocery chains, and retail brands that rely on foodora’s logistics network.
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on driving adoption, improving performance, and supporting operational excellence. You will work closely with local commercial and logistics teams to ensure we deliver great service while achieving sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
Commercial growth
- Support the development and execution of LaaS commercial strategy across seven European markets.
- Drive revenue growth through partner acquisition, pricing optimization, and retention initiatives.
- Track performance and identify new commercial opportunities in each market.
Business development & partnerships
- Work with local sales and account management teams to expand LaaS adoption among restaurants, grocery partners, and SMEs.
- Support negotiations and help structure commercial agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive long-term engagement.
Operational collaboration
- Partner with local logistics and operations teams to ensure delivery quality, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
- Support market teams in resolving operational bottlenecks and improving merchant satisfaction.
Data and insights
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build reports and dashboards to monitor revenue, volumes, and partner metrics.
Cross-functional coordination
- Collaborate with product, finance, and marketing teams to align initiatives, tools, and campaigns that drive LaaS growth.
- Share learnings and best practices across markets.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial operations, ideally within e-commerce, logistics, or delivery services.
- Excellent command of English and Czech; proficiency in another European language is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage partners, projects, or small P&L components.
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience using Excel or BI tools (SQL knowledge a plus).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and countries.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
