The Senior AI/Platform Engineer plays a pivotal role in productizing Mosaic AI into a governed, multi-tenant, self-service platform. This includes delivering golden paths, SDKs, CLIs, templates, and evaluation patterns that empower teams to build, deploy, and manage AI agents at scale. The role requires deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of agentic AI architectures, and a passion for building robust, scalable AI platforms.
YOUR ROLE
- Design and implement platform capabilities that enable self-service AI agent development using Mosaic AI.
- Build SDKs, CLIs, and reusable templates to streamline agent creation and deployment.
- Integrate foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic) and support fine-tuning workflows.
- Develop and maintain agent orchestration patterns using the Mosaic AI Agent Framework.
- Implement RAG pipelines, embedding strategies, and LangChain/LangGraph-based workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define golden paths and evaluation strategies.
- Ensure platform governance, multi-tenancy, and security best practices.
- Apply MLOps principles to support scalable, reliable model deployment and lifecycle management.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience with Databricks Mosaic AI and agent development frameworks.
- Strong understanding of agentic AI architectures, including autonomous agents and multi-agent systems.
- Hands-on expertise with MLflow, AutoML, and Vector Search.
- Experience integrating and fine-tuning foundation models such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and distributed ML frameworks.
- Familiarity with RAG architectures, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Skilled in designing agent workflows with human-in-the-loop and autonomous decision-making.
- Solid grasp of MLOps best practices and model deployment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
