The Python Developer plays a key role in building robust services and APIs that power the integration of Databricks and Mosaic AI into a secure, observable, and scalable platform. This role focuses on delivering high-quality backend capabilities with built-in testing, logging, and CI/CD, while enabling seamless evaluation, model serving, and vector search aligned with agentic AI patterns.
YOUR ROLE
- Design and implement FastAPI or Flask services to support platform features and AI workflows.
- Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs integrated with Databricks and Mosaic AI.
- Ensure automated testing, structured logging, and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate model evaluation, serving, and vector search.
- Apply ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy) for data processing and experimentation.
- Use MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry management.
- Contribute to containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, observability, and operational resilience.
YOUR PROFILE
- 4–6 years of experience in Python engineering and RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in FastAPI or Flask, with strong backend architecture skills.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with Databricks and Mosaic AI platforms.
- Understanding of model serving and vector search integration.
- Skilled in Python ML libraries: scikit-learn, pandas, numpy.
- Experience with MLflow for tracking and managing ML experiments.
- Strong focus on testing, logging, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
