Financial Manager/ finance manager - International Sustainable Finance Centre, z.ú.

International Sustainable Finance Center is looking for a Finance manager or controller/ finance or accounting professional who can help us with the financial management and oversight of our grants and finances. This position is offered on a part-time basis (1.5 -2 days a week FTE).

ABOUT ISFC
We are a small but growing team, which values integrity, good humor, and a sharp mind. The Center started its operations in September 2020. We are looking for a team member who is happy to work independently and have some agency, and who is keen to establish her or his credentials by being linked to a sustainable finance expert organisation. WORK FOCUS
ISFC is looking for a professional to help with the financial management of the organisation and its grants:

1. Engagement and liaison with the accounting company and the ISFC team
2. Cash flow prediction and monitoring of various grants and the management of receipts/invoices
3. Implementation and supervision of a financial management and reporting system
4. Monitoring and planning salary payments within grants
5. Help with preparation of invoices (liaison with accounting company), and preparation of employment, DPP, or ICO contracts for hiring
6. Coordination with the accountants and the management in preparation of annual accounts
7. Preparation of financial reports for various grants
8. Other relevant tasks related to financial management and oversight.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
We are looking for a person who would like to work part-time (0.5-0.75 FTE). We offer considerable flexibility when it comes to the exact working arrangements and even remuneration.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in financial management for a not for profit institution or a company. Only candidates with at least some experience of managing grants should apply. Ideally with some European Climate Foundation (EFC) or other foundation granting experience.
Languages: fluency in English AND in Czech.

WHAT WE OFFER
We are flexible on the work arrangement. Both salary/freelance cooperation is possible. Remuneration range is 35-50,000 CZK for 0.5 FTE depending on experience and other factors.
We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
