What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Payroll Specialist within our CCS division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business, located in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, managing payroll systems, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries from employees. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Payroll UK & EU.
How We Work
This position is offered as a 12 months fixed-term employment contract. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
· Processing end-to-end payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
· Maintaining and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes
· Collaborating with HR and Finance departments to verify employee data and resolve discrepancies
· Preparing and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and social insurance contributions
· Addressing and resolve payroll-related queries and issues in a timely manner
· Staying updated with changes in EU and UK labour laws and payroll regulations to ensure compliance
· Assisting with internal and external audits as required
Qualifications & Skills
· 2- 4 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
· Fluent in English, Czech speaking desirable.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field or comparable business experience
· Strong understanding of local payroll laws, tax regulations, and social insurance contributions
· Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and record-keeping
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies efficiently
· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
· High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to accuracy and ethical standards in handling payroll data
