Main tasks & key accountabilities:
- You will use data from a range of sources (CRM systems, ERP, marketing campaign results, market research, seasonal trends) to prepare relevant historical sales data, market trends,and customer behavior data
- You will improve forecast accuracy by breaking down data by product, region, customer segment, sales channel, etc., to identify patterns and differences in performance across segments
- You will use appropriate forecasting models (e.g., time series, regression, machine learning); use input from key departments to refine & adjust forecasts with real-world insights; and produce sales estimates for specific time periods (weekly, monthly, quarterly),
- You will share forecasts with stakeholders (executive team, finance, operations) in a clear and actionable format
- You will run multiple scenarios (best case, worst case, expected); and compare forecasts with actuals to assess accuracy, identify variances, and adjust forecasts or strategies, using accuracy metrics such as MAPE and RMSE
- You will maintain forecasting software/tools (eg. Blueyonder, o9, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Excel, custom BI tools etc) and ensure data integrity and automation
Our expectations for this exciting role:
- You hold a degree in Engineering, Business Economics, or Data Science
- You have up to 5 years of experience in Sales Demand Forecasting in large and complex corporations
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- You have strong mathematics skills; good understanding and management of statistical models; and a strong focus on process improvement
- You are familiar with the use of digital planning tools (eg. Kinaxis, SAP, o9, Blueyonder), digital business analytics tools such as PowerBI; and AI platforms to drive forecasting and planning practices
- You have strong analytical and communications skills and strength to deploy processes cross organisation
- You have the ability to work as part of a team; and resilience against frustration
