Thales in the Czech Republic employs over 300 people from 45 different nationalities. A total of 15 teams work on projects for government agencies, banking, mobile services and the Internet Of Things (IoT) technology. At the core of our business is the development of software which we configure and embed in a multitude of different devices and form factors. Kolegovia sú super
Na rozdiel od toho, čo Gemalto tvrdí, vôbec nepodporuje zmenu. Vzdialený manažment síce so zmenou súhlasí, ale odmieta sa stať jej súčasťou. Zmena napr. agilná transformácia, ale v zásade sú proti akejkoľvek zmene.

V našem týmu oceňuji zejména příjemné prostředí. Férové jednání. Všichni si pomáháme a vždy směřujeme ke splnění sprint gólů. Thales dává čas na rozvoj tím, že nám poskytuje čas na samostudium. Vždy když jsem chtěl na projektu použít nějakou novou technologii, nikdo mě nijak nelimitoval a bylo mi to umožněno.
Vadí mi snad jen to, že na základě toho jak vyhráváme výběrová řízení a přichází nové projekty se mění celkem často plán.

Nesmyslný tlak na prezenci v kanceláři v momentě, kdy jsou kolegové v pobočkách v jiných zemích.

Stabilita velké nadnárodní korporace. Lidé v mojí business line (BL). Lokálně se firma opravdu snaží udělat dobré zázemí všem BL, které v ČR jsou. A i když se reptá nad věcmi jako kávovar nebo kontrola topení, tak z vyššího pohledu je práce v Thalesu CR prima.
Prostor pro zlepšení se může najít u kávovarů, kontroly topení. Samozřejmě při porovnání s některými jinými Thales (Imperva) kancelářemi je vidět rozdíl, ale mě tolik nevadí. Lidé jsou tu fajn a to je možná důležitější než masážní křeslo. Ještě bych k větší spokojenosti potřeboval zjednodušit administrativu spojenou s cestováním a vyúčtováním služebních výdajů. To je fakt ponižujicí a zbytečně složitý proces.

The colleagues are really a great help. We are likeminded and focused on our professional goals. I appreciate that no one is there to make work difficult but to help you. It's rare that you find a place where everyone is pulling in the same direction, but we achieved it.
There is just one event per year organized for the whole company. There are no teambuildings, no Christmas Party (we do get a very nice grill party at the end of summer instead), no tshirts, notebooks, pens etc with Thales logo shared. It's a corporation and I understand the cost and climate impact on these types of items/events, but when you compare this with other Thales offices around the world, you feel left out.

Duvera a oceneni me osoby, spolecenske udalosti, soustredeni se na dulezite veci, posloucha co zamestnanci chteji a realizuje to. Je to proste fajn firma, fajn lidi a pracuji tu rad.
Vykazovani spousty reportu, nasledovani spousty pravidel, celkove system je komplikovany, ubira cas a rusi od prace.
