Wonderful work environment. Great colleagues and relationships (of course, it depends on how well you connect with your team).

Benefits are not as extensive as those offered by large corporations, and some key ones are missing, such as meal vouchers/benefit card and transportation allowance...

Byla jsem spokojena se spoluprací kolegyň a s IT servisem.

Na pohovoru slibovali work-life balance a 2 dny v týdnu home office. Po zkušební době HO zrušili. Obvykle firmy nabízí benefity, aby si zaměstnance udrželi, ve Wood je to naopak.

Response from employer:

-Ano...HO byl zrušen, pouze v oddělení financí, protože v tomto oddělní nastala komplikovaná situace, kdy probíhal Audit, dlouhodobě onemocněla Hlavní účetní a několik kolegyň odcházelo na mateřskou dovolenou....Je to dočasné opatření. -V 17:30hod již nikoho normálně v kancelářích nenaleznete...work life balnce ve Woodu skutečně je.

- I am happy working directly with my colleagues and also with colleagues outside my own department (Especially IT infrastructure). - The employer is accommodating when you need a change for personal reasons (more HO, shorter hours, etc.).

- The company should think about the number of benefits and their value. - I am not happy with the behavior of my supervisor who gives the impression that he is not managing the team.

Práce s hodně chytrými lidmi nad technicky zajímavými problémy. Možnost přičuchnout k čemukoliv na čem náš celý development tým dělá. Férové jednání a lidský přístup. Moderní zázemí a caring environment.

- Dělám zajímavou práci, která mne baví - Kanceláře máme v centru Prahy, a protože dojíždím ze Středočeského kraje, je zde výborná obslužnost jak vlakem, tak metrem nebo tramvají. - Ve většině případů jsem obklopena fajn lidmi, s kterými se umíme zasmát, mohu se na ně spolehnout a navíc jsou inteligentní a schopní... - Firma je sice již větší, ale stále ne typicky korporátní...to se mi líbí, protože rozhodnutí netrvají příliš dlouho.

Freedom and independence

Potřebujeme zaměstnance, kteří samostatně uvažují, práce je baví a jsou orientováni na výsledek. Naši manažeři zpravidla nejsou mikromanažeři, kteří budou podřízené denně kontrolovat.

Security and stability

Firma je na trhu již 30 let a za tuto dobu se z ní stal největší obchodník s cennými papíry, ale zároveň podstatně zvětšila svoji nabídku služeb o další produkty investičního bankovnictví. V současnosti vlastní např. velký Real Estate Fond, do kterého nakupuje obchodní domy v ČR, Slovensku a Polsku. Založila úspěšný brand Portu, rozrůstá se v oblasti Wealth Managamentu. To vše stabilizuje její business a dělá jej výkonější a stabilní.
