Strategic purchaser - Cockpit Module Purchasing - Mobis Automotive Czech s.r.o.

We are looking for a colleague who will:

• be responsible for managing existing suppliers,
• select suppliers for upcoming projects based on established criteria,
• negotiate contractual terms and product prices with suppliers,
• improve processes/products with suppliers to achieve cost savings,
• search for new suppliers 👀,
• support process and system audits on the supplier side - some of our suppliers are abroad and you will need to travel,
• take responsibility for the department's financial and accounting matters.

What would an ideal candidate look like?

• is a university graduate with an interest in gaining new experience (university degree is really a requirement),
• has intermediate knowledge of MS Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint 🖥️,
• fluent in English,
• has advanced level of Czech language,
• is willing to learn new things and won't be easily intimidated by the amount of new information,
• has a driver's license and ideally is also an active driver 🚗,
• has no problem going on business trips within the Czech Republic and abroad.
