HR Manager
For our manufacturing site in Trutnov, Czech Republic, which is part of a stable international group and employs approximately 300 employees, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager.
We are seeking a professional who can combine strategic Human Resources leadership with day-to-day business support. You will act as a trusted partner to both the local management team and manufacturing leadership, helping us further develop our company culture, talent management processes, and modern HR practices.
You will be part of the global HR and work very closely with the Plant Managing Director. The local HR team consists of two HR Consultants and one Payroll Specialist. Pepperl+Fuchs just finishing the implementation of Workday as the global HR System with a go live on July 1st.
What will be your responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and manage the HR team.
- Develop and implement the HR strategy in line with company objectives.
- Provide strategic support to management in people management and organizational development.
- Work closely with manufacturing management on workforce planning, recruitment and employee development.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee development, including talent management and succession planning.
- Develop and continuously improve performance management and compensation systems.
- Cooperate with trade unions and ensure compliance with labor legislation.
- Oversee occupational health services and cooperate in the area of Health & Safety.
- Support the establishment of Workday at the site and actively participate in the continuous development of the system from a business perspective.
- Prepare HR reports, manage HR budgets and support employer branding activities.
- Collaborate with European and global HR teams on international projects.
What are we looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR role (HR Manager or HR Business Partner).
- Experience in leading and developing an HR team.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and HR processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to act as a trusted business partner to management.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Experience in an international environment and familiarity with HR ERP systems (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) are considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and self-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
