Mejzlik Propellers is a Czech manufacturer of high-performance carbon fiber propellers and parts. From our facilities in Brno and Prague, we design and produce propellers that fly on defense, delivery, inspection, and advanced air mobility platforms worldwide — powering programs run by leading US defense primes, the most-funded autonomous drone startups, and household-name logistics operators flying packages in American skies.
We’re now scaling our commercial team to capture the next wave of growth — and we’re looking for a hunter to be part of it.

The Role
This is a pure hunting role. You'll work directly with the company's co-owner — no layers between you and decisions, no committee to wait on. We offer freedom in defining how to build your pipeline. You'll own the top of our sales funnel for global drone manufacturers. Be teh one to open doors at OEMs we don't talk to yet. Qualify inbound. Hand off validated opportunities to account managers who carry them through technical evaluation, NRE, and serial production.
Why This Role Is Different:
- The product speaks for itself. You're selling propellers that already fly on platforms your buyer knows. That's a different conversation than selling software or services.
- A market moving fast. Drones are becoming critical infrastructure across defense, logistics, and inspection — and propulsion sits at the center of every platform decision.
- Room to build. This is our first dedicated BDM hire. You'll shape how we go to market — not inherit someone else's playbook. What you build here will outlast you in the role.
- Low bureaucracy. Direct line to the co-owner. Decisions get made.
What You'll Do
1. Hunt
- Identify, research, and engage drone manufacturers across EU commercial, global delivery & logistics, and US defense/ISR segments
- Build and run outbound at scale — LinkedIn, cold email, trade shows, warm intros — whatever fills the top of funnel
2. Qualify
- Own the response to inbound from our website, referrals, and exhibitions
- Sort signal from noise fast — don't let weak leads waste account managers' time
3. Hand off cleanly
- Once technical fit is confirmed, the project is real, and budget context is understood — pass it over with full context
- A bad handoff is worse than no handoff
4. Feed intelligence back
- Bring what you hear from prospects back to product, engineering, and leadership — competitor moves, platform roadmaps, emerging segments
- You're our ears in the market
5. Show up externally
- Represent Mejzlik at approx. 4–6 international trade shows per year, f.e.: AUVSI Xponential, Commercial UAV Expo, AERO Friedrichshafen, and others
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- On experience: We're targeting 3–8 years — but if you're hungry, sharp, and can show real results from less time in the seat, we want to talk.
- Proven B2B hunting track record — show us specific accounts you opened from cold calls/e-mails
- Strong English (C1+); confident on calls, in writing, and in front of engineering audiences
- Outbound craft — you know the difference between a cold email that gets read and one that gets deleted
- Comfort with technical products — you don't need to be an aerospace engineer, but you learn fast and earn credibility with engineering buyers
- Self-directed — you build your own pipeline, manage your own time, and ship without being managed
- Willingness to travel internationally up to one week per month with occasional travel to Brno
- International experience required
Nice-to-haves:
- Background in drones, UAVs, aerospace, defense, or adjacent hardware
- Existing network among drone OEMs, integrators, or defense primes
- Czech is an advantage
- Pipedrive or similar CRM experience
- Driving licence a huge advantage
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary based on experience: 80-120 000,- CZK/ mo. + performance bonus (uncapped)
- 5 weeks of vacation

- Hybrid work — minimum 3 days/week in our Prague office and few days/month in Brno, with flexibility based on agreement
