As Digital Lean Specialist, you'll be hands-on in designing, developing and improving Bodycote's proprietary digital platform that drives operational performance across 130+ plants globally. Built by the Excellence Office and expanding rapidly, the platform is at the heart of how we run our operations.
This role fits somebody with an Operational or Operational Excellence background who developed a strong IT affinity along the way — ideally a self-starter who digitalized or automated processes as a bottom-up initiative and is now ready to apply that mindset at global scale.
Key Accountabilities
Lean & Operational Excellence
· Engage with plant teams to understand operational needs and identify digitalization opportunities.
· Guide local teams on where and how to benefit from digitalization and redesign processes accordingly.
Digital Transformation
· Design, develop, and improve platform modules spanning process automation, dashboards, analytics, and self-learning capabilities.
· Work on data integrations between the platform and plant systems to ensure reliable, real-time operational data across the network.
Change Management & Adoption
· Drive platform adoption across plants — onboard users, build trust, and champion a data-driven culture.
Translate operational feedback into platform improvements and contribute to the Digital Lean roadmap.
