Procurement Specialist - BNP Paribas Cardif

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist, who will support the end-to-end operational procurement activities for the Czech and Slovak Republic, ensuring compliance with Procurement policy and Group standards

This role covers following activities

  • Run day-to-day operational procurement for Czech & Slovak Republic in line with Procurement policy.
  • Be the main contact point for internal stakeholders (CZ/SK) and support them with the best way of working.
  • Approve Purchase Orders in CODA (CZ/SK) and handle PO/invoice mismatches.
  • Manage supplier onboarding and keep the supplier overview up to date.
  • Monitor external spend / cost control and prepare regular procurement reporting.
  • Ensure required controls & campaigns are completed (e.g., 360, GKSP) and archive supplier offers according to rules.
  • Support procurement projects, process localization per Group standards, and provide backup within CEE team when needed.

Your profile

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Previous experience with any purchasing/procurement software (Sourcing tools, Purchase to pay system, etc.).
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct internal negotiations and influence outcomes.
  • Proactive mindset; willingness to learn, share knowledge, and build team spirit (open and honest approach).
  • Ability to train/guide colleagues and internal stakeholders on best ways of working.
