As a key Finance partner for our High Voltage Products business, you will:

Your Responsibilities

• Drive strategy planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Secure transparent and reliable financial reporting in line with standards and closing schedules.
• Lead business planning & forecasting, translate budgets into operational plans, model scenarios and recommend actions.
• Monitor business performance, provide insights, manage cash flow and drive productivity, cost optimization and capital efficiency.
• Oversee cost management including production variances, productivity, purchase price variances, absorption and overheads.
• Develop assumptions for annual budgets, analyze results and explain variances (monthly or as needed).
• Lead and support continuous process improvements, including global standard implementation and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance, support audits and oversee financial & non‑financial controls.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Sales, HR, Plants, Group functions and Shared Accounting Centers.
• Promote safety, integrity and a strong HSE culture in line with Hitachi Energy core values.

Your Background

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• 10 years of experience in finance, manufacturing/operational controlling or accounting
• Experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA)
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and the “big picture”
• Proactive, self-driven team player with strong communication and partnering skills
• Passion for process improvements and a “can‑do” attitude
• Very good English; German is an advantage
• Initial people management experience is a plus
