We're looking for a Group Accounting Specialist to join our team in Prague. This critical role partners with the Group's IT department, supports Group reporting consolidation, and leads the creation of the PLC annual statutory accounts. You'll also contribute to the annual report process and various ad hoc projects for both team delivery and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Group month-end close and consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting aligned with IFRS, Group policies, and UK Provision 29.
- Prepare and support half-year and year-end Group consolidated financial statements, liaising with external auditors.
- Manage the Group’s budgeting and forecasting consolidation process, including templates, timelines, data checks, and reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate with divisional FVPs, IT leads, and Shared Services to maintain data integrity and efficient processes.
- Provide expert advice on technical accounting, forecasting, and one-off transactions.
- Continuously improve reporting and forecasting processes and systems.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or working towards).
- Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in group reporting.
- Background in audit is a plus.
- Experience in large, complex international environments.
- Advanced Excel skills; HFM knowledge preferred.
- Fluent in English.
